Changelog

A record of the improvements that make responsive review faster, clearer, and more reliable.

0.2.10 — A simpler icon and clearer Store listing

  • A simpler Mobile View icon: A plain laptop, tablet, phone and watch icon now appears in the workspace and Chrome toolbar.
  • Clearer device previews in the Store: Refreshed promo images and screenshots show iPhone 18 Pro, folded iPhone Duo, MacBook and Apple Watch. The marquee also shows Duo unfolded.
  • Clearer descriptions in every Store language: Updated all 55 localized listings to explain mobile previews, responsive website testing, synchronized scrolling and screenshot feedback.

0.2.9 — Better previews and easier device switching

  • Updated startup devices: Start with iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone Duo unfolded, and MacBook Pro. Duo unfolded opens in landscape and can be rotated to portrait.
  • Refreshed device frames: Updated frames for iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone Duo, Pixel 10 Pro Fold, MacBook Neo and other devices.
  • Quicker device switching: Move through your selected device group with previous and next arrows.
  • Predictable rotation: Switch between portrait and landscape on supported devices. Choosing another device restores its default orientation.
  • Cleaner viewport controls: Compact headers and settings buttons leave more room for previews.
  • Refreshed look: A simpler Mobile View icon, plus updated promo images and screenshots featuring the folded Duo.

0.2.8 — Fixed Duo alignments

  • Fixed alignment issues in iPhone Duo folded and unfolded views.

0.2.7 — New Apple devices

  • Added iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, and iPhone Duo with folded and unfolded presets.

0.2.5 — A clearer workspace and better device previews

  • Updated workspace design: Clearer borders, compact controls and an improved device picker, with familiar button positions and zoom and close controls at the top of each viewport.
  • Device, Free and View only: Switch between device frames and a frameless view without reloading your previews. Use View only to hide workspace controls and focus on the page.
  • Corrected device rendering: Improved screen fit, dimensions, rounded corners and browser-header alignment across phones, tablets, laptops and desktops, including header seams at smaller zoom levels.
  • Improved navigation and scroll sync: More reliable page navigation, reload recovery and nested scrolling, with reduced scroll drift when switching between viewports.
  • Reuse your website session: The viewer opens over your existing page. Same-site previews reuse its browser storage context while the original page stays open; some sites may still require sign-in.
  • Website dark-mode support: Device appearance now passes the light or dark preference to previewed websites that support system themes, without inverting page colors.
  • Better phone and tablet keyboards: Refined iOS and Android keyboard layouts, input-specific keys and focused-field visibility in portrait and landscape.
  • Clearer feedback and help: Updated the review prompt styling, made failed review-link actions retryable, and added clearer review and issue-report options in Help.

0.2.4 — New Pixel devices and a review option

  • Added Google Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL and Pixel 11 Pro Fold to the device catalog.
  • Added an option to leave an honest Chrome Web Store review from the workspace.

0.2.3 — Localized testing and reusable user flows

  • A localized responsive-testing workspace with 16 supported languages, including Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Hindi, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, and Spanish.
  • Record user flow: capture clicks, typing, and scrolling once, then rerun the saved journey across device viewports for consistent testing.
  • Corrected Liquid Glass rendering for the latest iPhone previews, including Safari color blending, notch boundaries, and bottom-bar treatment.

0.2.2 — Smoother mobile previews

  • Phone and tablet previews keep native scrolling while hiding browser scrollbars, including on cross-origin pages.

0.2.1 — More devices, faster responsive checks

  • Four current 2026 presets: Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, Fold8, Flip8 and A27 5G. Each carries a NEW marker in the device picker until the next catalog batch arrives.
  • New unfolded foldable layouts make large-screen breakpoint testing easier without rebuilding custom viewports.
  • Official Samsung product frames now align each live viewport, camera, fold, and corner precisely. Mobile previews also hide browser scrollbars while remaining scrollable.
  • Localized extension discovery across 14 languages, including Spanish, French, Simplified and Traditional Chinese.
  • Clearer Chrome Web Store copy and visuals that lead with free, open-source responsive testing.
  • An eight-step first-run tour now covers clearing the sidebar, focusing one viewport, comparing against a design, synchronization, and evidence-sharing without clipping controls at the window edge.
  • Automated locale, website SEO, device geometry, and package checks for a more dependable release.

0.2.0 — Streamlined workspace

  • Clean-canvas mode hides the sidebar, main toolbar, and device toolbars while preserving resize and restore controls.
  • Correct emulator night mode without filtering or recoloring previewed pages.
  • Additional 2025–2026 Android device frames with corrected viewport and camera geometry.
  • Explicit navigation sync and a live source-tab recording indicator.
  • Responsive AI fix-prompt preview with fully optional issue context and stronger verification guidance.

0.1.5 — Everyday workflow

  • Faster device switching, saved sets, a resizable workspace, reliable linked scrolling, and design comparisons.
